About The Position
The Adult Neuro Speech Language Pathologist provides quality patient care while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. The role also focuses on enhancing and expanding client relations with facilities and their staff. This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week in Henderson, Nevada, with compensation of $82,014–$110,000 annually depending on experience. The posting offers a $16,000 sign-on bonus, an annual bonus plan, and $350 per month in student loan assistance. Requirements
- Meet American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation of a Clinical Fellowship Year, including at least 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
- State licensure or registration where appropriate.
- ASHA certification required.
- 300 hours of prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
- Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently and independently lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day or shift.
- Near and distant visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written directions.
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
- Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility and in the community.
- Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
- Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in accordance with state labor laws.
