About The Position

The Adult Neuro Speech Language Pathologist provides quality patient care while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. The role also enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff. The position is per diem and is located in Henderson, Nevada, with a stated pay rate of $60 per hour.

Requirements

• Meet ASHA minimum standards for initiation of a Clinical Fellowship Year, including 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
• State licensure or registration where appropriate.
• ASHA certification required.
• 300 hours of prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
• Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently and to lift 50 pounds alone.
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day or shift.
• Near and distant visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written directions.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
• Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility and in the community.
• Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
• Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in accordance with state labor laws.
