About The Position

As a per diem, nonexempt Speech Language Pathologist with Optum/CPS Rehabilitation Services team at Parrish Medical Center, you are responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities in an outpatient setting as prescribed by a referring physician. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role, you will assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine “normal” life within the constraints of their disability. This is a per diem role that will work as needed with no set hours, primarily in an outpatient setting. Parrish Medical Center (PMC) is a public, not-for-profit acute care healing hospital with 210 beds located on the Space Coast of Florida. The Rehabilitation Department core hours are Monday-Sunday from 7:00am-4:00pm and as needed to support acute care hospital rehab staff. This position may float to other local facilities and work inpatient or outpatient. Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited college in Speech-Language Pathology
Florida Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing or able to obtain prior to start
Must be willing to work in an outpatient setting (may float to inpatient as needed)
