About The Position

The Arc of the Ozarks is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their Joplin clinic. This role focuses on empowering individuals to gain independence through better communication and live fuller, more independent lives. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, working in clinic or school settings based on client needs. Collaboration with families, caregivers, and professionals, along with the use of evidence-based therapy techniques and accurate documentation, are key aspects of this position. The role also requires staying current with professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Clinical Fellowships may be considered
• Missouri Speech-Language Pathology License (in good standing)
• Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, stoop, and move as needed
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
