About The Position

The Aerial Lift Trimmer performs professional tree maintenance and vegetation-clearance work around utility lines. The role requires previous experience operating an aerial lift trimmer or Jarraff. It is a safety-sensitive position requiring the employee to pass a background check and drug screen as required for the job, hold a valid driver’s license, and meet I-9 work authorization requirements. A CDL is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, as is experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries.

The position is full-time and offers medical, vision, and dental health insurance, with an option to enroll in a 401(k). Depending on position and eligibility, additional compensation may include overtime or premium pay. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Follow and help enforce safe work practices.
• Assist in preparing the truck and materials needed for each workday at the Foreperson’s direction.
• Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and tree debris.
• Clean up and dispose of work debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used in daily work.
• Continually practice and improve climbing and tree maintenance skills.
• Assist other crew members in all aspects of daily work.
• Protect employees and the public from hazards by enforcing safe job practices, keeping the work area clean and orderly, and maintaining frequent voice communication with coworkers.
• Perform storm-work duties as needed.
