About The Position
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is sought for a skilled nursing facility in Bloomfield, New Mexico. The role is a direct-hire, permanent placement, with a Monday–Friday schedule. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative, with clinical leadership, mentorship, and support for professional growth. Both new graduates and experienced professionals are welcome to apply. The estimated compensation is approximately $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current New Mexico SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP certification is preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered when supervision is available.
- Applicants may be new graduates or experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress.
