About The Position
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is sought for a skilled nursing facility in Hayward, California. The role involves providing rehabilitation services to patients in a collaborative therapy department, with access to clinical leadership, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. The position is a direct hire/permanent placement, scheduled Monday through Friday. The estimated rate is approximately $50–$65 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered when supervision is available.
- Experience in the field; new graduates and experienced professionals are both welcome.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress.
