About The Position
Relient Health is recruiting a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a permanent, direct-hire role at a skilled nursing facility in Salinas, California. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative, with clinical leadership, mentorship, and support for professional growth. The role is open to new graduates and experienced professionals, but requires CCC-SLP certification for this location; applicants completing a CFY are directed to a separate application. The estimated rate is approximately $60–$65 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- CCC-SLP certification required for this location.
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress.
