About The Position
Relient Health is seeking a full-time, certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a permanent placement at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Pleasant Hill, California. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative, with clinical leadership, mentorship, and support for professional growth. The role is open to new graduates and experienced professionals; applicants completing a Clinical Fellowship (CFY) are directed to a separate application because this opening requires an SLP-CCC. The estimated rate is approximately $60–$65 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location. The schedule is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- CCC-SLP certification required for this location.
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to provide coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and staff about treatment goals and progress.
