About The Position
Relient Health is seeking a full-time, certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a permanent, direct-hire position at a skilled nursing facility in Alameda, California. The facility provides rehabilitation services and describes its therapy department as collaborative, with clinical leadership, mentorship, and support for professional growth. The role offers an estimated rate of approximately $60–$65 per hour, depending on experience, setting, and location, plus benefits. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- CCC-SLP required for this location.
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to provide coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and staff about treatment goals and progress.
