About The Position
Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow for a part-time role providing speech and language services to children. The position offers flexible weekday hours during daytime and/or afternoon periods in home, school, or center settings across Long Island. The hourly rate is $65–$90, based on experience. The role includes support from a dedicated team and full onboarding.
Requirements
- Valid New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist; Clinical Fellows are welcome.
- Valid licensure and reliable transportation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness and passion for continued growth and learning.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or school-aged evaluation and treatment experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to children to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate regularly with staff and parents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
