About The Position

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to children in home, school, or center settings across Long Island. This is a part-time role with flexible weekday availability during daytime and/or afternoon hours. The position offers a supportive, collaborative environment and a pay rate of $65–$90 per hour, based on experience. Clinical fellows are welcome.

Requirements

Valid New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist; clinical fellows are welcome.
Valid licensure and reliable transportation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team.
Willingness and passion for continued growth and learning.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric or school-aged evaluation and treatment experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on improving communication skills.
Collaborate regularly with staff and parents.
Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
