About The Position

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with clinical fellows also welcome, for a part-time role providing speech and language services to children. Services are delivered onsite in home, school, or center settings across Long Island. The position offers flexible weekday availability during daytime and/or afternoon hours in a welcoming, supportive environment, with a dedicated support team. Compensation is $65–$90 per hour, based on experience. Dragonfly Cares is a mission-driven organization that provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and developmental differences in homes, centers, schools, and communities. The organization emphasizes meaningful progress for children and families, collaboration, and ongoing professional learning.

Requirements

Valid New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist; clinical fellows are welcome.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team.
Valid licensure and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric or school-aged evaluation and treatment experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on improving communication skills.
Collaborate regularly with staff and parents.
Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
Demonstrate willingness and passion for continued growth and learning.
