About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Specialty Software Engineer for a 3-month contract position with a Global Financial Institution in San Francisco, CA. This is a hands-on development role with a strong coding focus on a highly visible, strategic program within the Consumer Technology Marketing Technology organization. The role will focus on building and deploying greenfield Agentic AI solutions, specifically developing AI agents that orchestrate and automate marketing campaign activities. The position will be instrumental in building, enhancing, and supporting these agents.

Requirements

5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent
5+ years of experience with Python
5+ years of experience with Microservices architecture
5+ years of experience with API Development and Integration
5+ years of experience with MongoDB
Experience with backend service development, distributed systems design, and REST APIs (FastAPI)
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks, and AI orchestration concepts
Comfortable communicating technical needs and blockers within a development team

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience with Agentic AI
Experience with Generative AI application development, including multi-agent workflow design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering
Knowledge of enterprise AI platform architecture, including AI governance, guardrails, and Responsible AI controls
Experience with performance tuning, caching strategies, and event-driven architecture

Responsibilities

Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering
Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges
Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel
Build, enhance, and support AI agents with a hands-on coding focus
