About The Position

Keystone Health is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Specialty Pharmacy Coordinator to support the growth of its specialty pharmacy services. The coordinator works closely with the Nurse Manager, Clinical Pharmacist, providers, and pharmacy operations team to help patients access specialty medications promptly and receive support throughout their treatment journey. The role calls for strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Experience with insurance benefits, prior authorizations, financial assistance programs, and specialty medication access is preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pennsylvania Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, healthcare coordination, insurance authorizations, patient access services, or care coordination.
• Experience with insurance benefits, prior authorizations, financial assistance programs, and specialty medication access.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient access to specialty medications through benefits investigations, prior authorizations, financial assistance programs, and manufacturer enrollment processes.
• Manage specialty pharmacy referrals, patient onboarding, and limited distribution drug (LDD) workflows to support timely therapy initiation.
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, payers, and support staff to remove barriers to care and improve treatment access.
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of patient access activities while supporting continuity of care and patient engagement.
• Contribute to the growth, efficiency, and success of Keystone Health's specialty pharmacy services through coordinated, patient-centered support.
