About The Position

Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests, and may collect payment and make change. Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner. Use a computerized guest check system to receive and process orders, retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen, and deliver them to guests. Carry and balance trays and/or pushcarts of food and beverages through the kitchen and dining room. Maintain cleanliness in all dining room areas. Present checks to guests and collect payment or deliver it to the cashier.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to use a computer system for placing food and beverage orders and processing payments.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of food specialty or cuisine and service standards in the specific room strongly preferred.
