About The Position
The Specialist I, Restoration executes assigned restoration and insulation work safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The role involves physical labor in attics, crawlspaces, confined spaces, and elevated areas, with a focus on customer satisfaction and compliance with company expectations. The specialist completes assigned work according to job orders, sales contracts, diagrams, and instructions, and supports quality restoration outcomes by working thoroughly and without shortcuts. The position reports to the branch location daily to clock in and out, work scheduled hours, and follow overtime approval requirements. Success is measured by completion of scheduled service calls, documentation accuracy, customer satisfaction, timely responses to service issues, and maintaining safe work and driving records.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive bending, climbing, and physical labor daily.
- Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, confined spaces, and on ladders.
- Ability to read and follow job orders, diagrams, and written instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience performing insulation, vapor barrier installation, or restoration-related work.
- Familiarity with construction, home services, or field-based labor environments.
- Prior experience working from job scopes or sales contracts in a field setting.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned restoration and insulation work, including removal and installation of insulation, vapor barriers, vent covers, and related materials.
- Work in physically demanding environments, including attics, crawlspaces, confined spaces, and elevated areas, using ladders.
- Maintain safe working conditions at job sites by following safety standards, procedures, and physical job requirements.
- Follow job orders, sales contracts, diagrams, and work instructions to complete work as sold and scoped.
- Report to the branch location daily to clock in and out, work scheduled hours, and comply with overtime approval requirements.
- Complete work thoroughly, without shortcuts, to support customer satisfaction and restoration standards.
- Respond to service delivery issues or escalations within 24 hours, with a goal of preventing repeat issues.
