About The Position

As a Specialist - Golf at DICK’S Sporting Goods, you will use your golf product knowledge to deliver personalized service, support service execution, and drive sales. • 1–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide an outstanding experience with clear, accurate, knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Anticipate athlete needs and drive sales through product and service recommendations informed by an understanding of those needs.
• Assist with onboarding and training new and existing team members as a subject matter expert, focusing on best practices, selling skills, and operational processes.
• Serve as a go-to expert in designated process categories to support smooth execution and high productivity.
• Execute processes efficiently while maintaining an athlete-first mindset, ensuring products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged in ways that suit them.
• Maintain merchandising and presentation standards, including floor-set plans, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote customer participation in company programs, including the customer loyalty program, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
• Help create a store environment where teammates and athletes are welcomed and treated with respect.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, standard operating procedures, and applicable laws and external guidelines.
