About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, the individual is responsible for managing the planning of all owned digital marketing elements, support execution, and ensure that the delivery is timely. The Specialist, Digital Marketing & CRM is responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end effective digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, generate engagement, and support growth of online sales. This individual is responsible for analyzing and optimizing website performance to ensure maximum visibility and engagement, along with the successful execution of direct-to-customer communications across the CRM ecosystem through Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, IT, and external agencies to develop and execute digital campaigns that align with Rexall’s goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant digital marketing experience; website management considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of content management systems and website optimization tools.
  • Understanding of setting up and optimizing Google Adword campaigns.
  • Experience in SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and insights.
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience with executing direct-to-customer communications through Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platform considered an asset; including building campaigns, audience segmentation, knowledge of coding HTML and CSS for emails, knowledge of SQL coding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences to secure buy-in.
  • Self-motivated, creative thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Experience with Design Programs considered an asset.
  • University or College degree in Marketing, Business or related field considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute digital marketing strategies across web, email, and other digital platforms, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals. This includes managing the digital marketing calendar and collaborating with marketing partners to drive brand awareness and website traffic.
  • Manage and optimize rexall.ca, ensuring content is accurate, informative, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized. Lead the design and development of in-house landing pages supporting business priorities, brand pages, and partner pages.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to perform keyword research and SEO optimization to improve search engine rankings, landing page development, and creative development.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, websites, and landing pages using analytics tools. Provide insights and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the end-to-end execution of direct-to-customer marketing campaigns across Rexall, Be Well, and vendor partners within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes planning, creative development, content setup in Salesforce, audience segmentation, testing, execution, automation, and reporting.
  • Leverage digital marketing tools to efficiently manage content posting and updates across digital properties.
  • Oversee customer feedback management on Google and other relevant platforms, ensuring timely responses and monitoring engagement.
  • Support Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud management, including campaign execution, contact management, audience segmentation, CASL compliance, and profile management.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in digital marketing, particularly in website management and email, and share relevant insights with the team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.
