SPECIAL PROJECTS ANALYST

About The Position

This is a rare seat for someone early in their career who wants to operate like they're running a business within the business. You'll work closely with the CEO on the problems that matter most, and you'll move across a wide range of critical workstreams — hiring, financial modeling, deal-making, due diligence, and strategic initiatives — often several at once. One week you're building a model that shapes an acquisition; the next you're running a hiring process or digging into diligence on a target. It's a high-ownership, high-trust role, and deliberately broad. We're not going to hand you a narrow lane — we're going to hand you hard, undefined problems and trust you to own them end to end. It's the kind of seat where you learn more in a year than most people do in five, working directly alongside people who've built companies, run large operations, invested capital, and closed deals.

Requirements

  • Early in your career but exceptional — you've already shown you operate well above your title.
  • Sharp with numbers and comfortable in a model, and just as comfortable writing, thinking, and presenting.
  • Entrepreneurial: you treat problems like they're yours to own, not tasks to complete.
  • You thrive in ambiguity and want the range, not the safety, of a well-defined job.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a demanding, analytical environment — finance, consulting, a fast-growing startup, or your own venture.
  • Exposure to M&A, investing, or operating a business.
  • A genuine interest in the physical, built world and the people who run it.

Responsibilities

  • Own a rotating portfolio of the company's most important problems, across hiring, finance, deals, diligence, and strategy.
  • Build financial models and analyses that directly inform real decisions.
  • Run point on projects end to end — from framing the problem to delivering the answer.
  • Work closely with the CEO and the wider team, and fill whatever gap most needs filling.
  • Turn ambiguity into structure: bring order, plans, and momentum to things that start out messy.
