About The Position

7-Eleven is seeking a Special Projects Technician I to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of stores, from maintaining Slurpee machines to managing large-scale projects and upgrades. The technician will play a vital role in ensuring convenience for customers and supporting communities, contributing to remodels and new store openings.

Requirements

• Ability to travel 50% of the time or greater
• Ability to work flexible hours defined by the project
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years in general repairs and maintenance
• Valid Driver’s License (with real ID or equivalent for air travel)
• Show leadership
• Peer-to-peer tech support

• Handle stretch assignments
• Facility location ownership
• Time management

Responsibilities

• Complete POS upgrades and installations, fuel dispenser upgrades and other specialized projects
• Serve on a strike team to support markets with service calls during In-House Maintenance technician staffing shortages
• Manage and fulfill orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
• Maintain parts inventory and complete daily reports to support operational efficiency
• Perform additional duties such as training technicians, prioritize assigned work orders, and conduct basic structural maintenance
