The Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) is responsible for the comprehensive and effective coordination, development, and evaluation of programs and services that contribute directly and positively to the resiliency of the assigned unit’s force and families. The Coordinator will organize and oversee peer support networks for their assigned commands, recruit active duty and family member peer support counselors, and ensure they are vetted and trained according to USSOCOM CRC standards. The role involves collecting and reporting data for program evaluations, identifying and documenting program/service needs, and developing needs-based programming for specific demographic groups and geographic locations. The Coordinator must possess extensive knowledge of DoD resources such as Military OneSource, Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC), Personal Financial Counselors (PFC), and the Military Crisis Line. They will serve as a liaison for community and family support matters, communicate on behalf of the Command, and maintain awareness of emergency response protocols.
