About The Position
Fire Protection Services, a full-service provider of comprehensive inspections for fire and life safety systems, is seeking a Special Hazards Inspector. In this role, you will perform detailed inspections, maintenance, and testing of highly specialized fire suppression systems used in high-risk environments. Key responsibilities include ensuring system reliability and code compliance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, completing inspection reports and educating customers on system use and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of fire suppression systems materials, tools, procedures and relevant NFPA codes
- At least two years of experience working with special hazard systems
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections, maintenance, and testing of highly specialized fire suppression systems used in high-risk environments.
