Special Events Security Officer - Casino Security
About The Position
Under the direction of Security Department supervisors and managers, the Special Events Security Officer provides security coverage to protect the safety of patrons and team members. The role safeguards the organization’s assets and those of its guests and team members, while maintaining an outgoing, friendly, guest-oriented demeanor. The officer ensures security for money transfers within casino and hotel areas, assists patrons with questions and other situations, patrols the property, documents incidents, supports emergency response, and helps maintain key control. The position also includes identifying and discreetly reporting responsible gaming or alcohol-service concerns to appropriate managers. The stated pay rate is $19.00. Responsibilities
- Ensure proper security for transfers of money within casino and hotel areas.
- Assist patrons with inquiries and situations, provide information about the property and events, give directions, and escort patrons when necessary.
- Prepare detailed incident reports clearly and precisely.
- Patrol hotel and casino areas, maintain a security presence, and report unusual situations or suspicious persons.
- Assist in coordinating and resolving emergency situations.
- Assist in maintaining proper key control.
- Notify appropriate managers discreetly about responsible gaming or responsible alcohol-service concerns and observations.
