About The Position

The Point Casino & Hotel is hiring a dedicated, professional security officer to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and employees. The role supports the safety of guests, employees, and property; monitors gaming activities to help uphold fairness and gaming integrity; enforces Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming Enterprise policies and regulatory requirements; and assists with secure access to restricted areas and the transfer of gaming materials, funds, and documentation. The officer is expected to balance strong security standards with attentive customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License.
• Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain required gaming licenses (Class III-WSGC and Class II-PGST).
• Must pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug and alcohol test.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making and stress-management abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Professional, calm, customer-service-oriented demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of security or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Gaming experience is a plus; training may be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Help safeguard guests, employees, and property throughout the facility, including the gaming floor.
• Monitor gaming activities, uphold fairness, and identify when intervention is needed.
• Enforce Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming Enterprise policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate and work with management and team members to address concerns and respond appropriately.
• Assist with secure access to restricted areas.
• Support the secure transfer of gaming materials, funds, and important documentation.
• Provide professional, customer-service-oriented interactions that contribute to a positive guest experience.
