About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a South Carolina school district to hire a full-time, contract Special Education Teacher for an immediate start. The role is based in person on a K–12 campus. The teacher will support student growth by creating an inclusive classroom environment and helping diverse learners achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. The schedule is Monday through Friday during standard school hours.

The teacher will use positive behavior interventions, differentiated lesson plans, and data-driven assessments to support students with varied learning styles, abilities, and behavioral needs. Instruction will be delivered in small groups or one-on-one. The teacher will manage the IEP process, including writing measurable goals, hosting review meetings, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related discipline.
• Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Special Education teaching certificate.
• Strong classroom management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary school teams.

Nice To Haves

• Prior school-based teaching experience in South Carolina is highly preferred.
• Out-of-state credentials with verified eligibility for South Carolina licensure reciprocity are welcome.
