About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a South Carolina school district to hire a Special Education Teacher for an immediate-start, full-time contract position. The role provides in-person support on a K–12 campus during standard school hours, Monday through Friday. The teacher will foster an inclusive classroom environment, support diverse learners, and help students achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related discipline.
• Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Special Education teaching certificate.
• Strong classroom management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary school teams.

Nice To Haves

• Prior school-based teaching experience in South Carolina is highly preferred.
• Educators with out-of-state credentials and verified eligibility for South Carolina licensure reciprocity are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implement positive behavior intervention strategies to foster a supportive and productive classroom climate.
• Design and deliver tailored lesson plans accommodating different learning styles, abilities, and behavioral needs.
• Use data-driven assessments to track, evaluate, and report student progress to families and administrative teams.
• Provide specialized instruction in small groups or one-on-one sessions to bridge learning gaps and promote independence.
• Manage the IEP process, including writing measurable goals, hosting review meetings, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
