About The Position

NFI North provides mental health and behavioral support services to people facing life challenges. We design diverse and innovative programs that provide a high level of structure within communities of care when a person or family is in need. Our goal is for people to grow, have hope, thrive in their community and feel like they belong. Bridge Crossing Academy is a Special Purpose Private School licensed by the Maine Department of Education and serves students grades K – 8. Our Environment: focuses on the individual needs of each student. We have a low student/teacher ratio which helps assist students in steady growth academically. Our classroom BHP’s and Clinical Staff specialize in the treatment and education of our students with a wide array of mental health diagnoses including mood disorders, complex trauma, attachment disorders. ASD and social and emotional supports.

Requirements

must hold a degree in Education
certified or eligible for Special Education (282) certification
Strong emphasis on teamwork are essential
understanding of a student’s social and emotional health is critical to our student’s success

Responsibilities
