About The Position

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a student-focused Special Education Teacher to provide resource room services to students in grades 3–5 at an Illinois school district. This full-time, full-school-year position is suited to an educator who creates individualized learning experiences and supports students in building confidence and academic success.

The teacher delivers individualized and small-group instruction aligned with students’ unique learning needs and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. The role includes reinforcing core academic concepts, modifying instructional materials, and using ongoing assessments to monitor progress and identify additional support needs.

The teacher collaborates with general education teachers, special education teams, related service providers, and families to coordinate student support and promote consistent learning strategies. The position also involves documenting academic growth, maintaining student records, participating in IEP meetings, and communicating student progress and instructional needs with appropriate school personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
• Out-of-state special education license may be considered if the applicant is eligible for Illinois reciprocity.
• Strong instructional, classroom management, organizational, and collaborative communication skills.
