About The Position
Foundations Academy in Brighton, Colorado, is a K–8 school that opened in 2010. The Special Education Teacher provides specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of students resulting from their disabilities. The stated annual pay range is $62,833 to $68,561, commensurate with experience, education, and market as defined by NHA.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements; NHA will support the teacher through an alternative certification journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction to meet students’ individual needs resulting from their disabilities, including resource-room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development specific to special education curriculum and data-tracking tools.
