About The Position
PrepNet Virtual Academy is a Michigan-based online school serving students in grades K–12. The Special Education Teacher provides specially designed instruction to meet the individual needs of students resulting from their disabilities. Services may include resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout instruction. The teacher also participates in professional development focused on special education curriculum and data-tracking tools.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements. NHA supports teachers through the alternative certification process.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction to address students’ individual needs resulting from their disabilities, including resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development specific to special education curriculum and data-tracking tools.
