About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Spanish language teacher for a business course in Oklahoma City. The course will consist of 10 sessions, each 2 hours long, for a total of 20 hours. The students are 14 adult ladies and gentlemen at a beginner level who are motivated to improve their conversational skills for business in Argentina. The classes will be held at the students' office in Oklahoma City, OK (73102). The schedule is twice a week, on Mondays or Tuesdays at 3:00 pm, and Wednesdays or Thursdays at either 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm (not consecutive days). The start date is as soon as possible. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. The hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native Spanish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Oklahoma City, OK (73102).
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish to 14 adult beginners.
- Conduct classes at the students' office in Oklahoma City.
- Adhere to a schedule of twice a week, with specific time slots on Mondays/Tuesdays and Wednesdays/Thursdays.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the students' motivation for business conversations in Argentina.
