About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Spanish Teacher to provide customized corporate language training to three high school students in Pittsburgh, United States. The students are at an intermediate level and have completed general Spanish 1 and 2. The course will focus mostly on conversation, with foundational work as needed, and should progress toward more advanced conversational Spanish. The course comprises 30 total hours in two-hour sessions. The listed schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:15–12:15, with schedule and location potentially flexible based on availability. The preferred start date is ASAP. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Be a native Spanish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit or visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location in Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish to a group of three high school students at an intermediate level.
• Provide conversational Spanish instruction, including foundational review as needed and more advanced conversational practice.
• Deliver the 30-hour course in sessions listed as two hours each, according to the agreed schedule and location.
