About The Position
Park Schools Montessori is looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated Spanish-Speaking Assistant Primary Teacher to join our Primary classroom team. The ideal candidate will support the Lead Teacher in creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment while helping children develop independence, confidence, and a love for learning. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with young children, values teamwork, and can incorporate Spanish language exposure naturally throughout the classroom day.

- Ability to speak Spanish fluently or conversationally required
- Patient, kind, dependable, and passionate about working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions while also taking initiative
- Organized, responsible, and willing to learn
- Comfortable supporting a busy classroom environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or educational setting preferred
- Experience in a Montessori environment is a plus but not required
- Experience as an Assistant Teacher, Preschool Teacher, Childcare Assistant, or similar role
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish)
- Creativity in bringing Spanish language learning into everyday activities
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities, lessons, and routines
- Support children’s learning, independence, social skills, and emotional development
- Communicate with children using Spanish through daily conversations, songs, activities, and classroom interactions
- Help create a warm, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Supervise students during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, transitions, and rest periods
- Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and maintaining a clean learning environment
- Observe and support each child’s individual needs
- Help prepare classroom materials and activities
- Encourage positive behavior using respectful guidance techniques
- Maintain open and professional communication with teachers, staff, and families
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
