Spanish Bilingual Retail Sales Associate
About The Position
As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will work with a team in a Verizon retail store to drive sales and help customers find technology solutions. The role involves learning customers’ needs, building connections, recommending products and services, and closing sales through clear communication. You will also receive ongoing training in sales and operational functions such as merchandising and inventory. The position may include outreach to current Verizon customers by phone or text and participation in Verizon-sponsored community events outside the store. The role is onsite at a defined work location and is scheduled for 40 hours per week. Employees must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may have opportunities to pick up additional shifts, particularly during busy periods. Compensation includes hourly base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 and individual sales commissions; total compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules are provided four weeks in advance.
- Openness to picking up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities
- Generate retail sales by applying knowledge of technology and providing customer service.
- Identify customer needs by building connections and asking questions.
- Recommend products and solutions that address customers’ needs.
- Close sales through effective communication and intuitive technology solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and develop skills in merchandising and inventory operations.
- Contact interested current Verizon customers by phone and text to grow the customer base.
- Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events.
