Retail Sales Associate Spanish Bilingual
About The Position
Verizon is hiring a full-time, Spanish-bilingual Retail Sales Associate to work onsite at a defined retail location. The role focuses on retail sales, customer service, and helping customers identify and adopt technology products and services. Associates use customer conversations to understand needs, recommend solutions, and close sales, while also developing their skills through training in merchandising and inventory operations. The position may include contacting interested Verizon customers by phone or text and representing Verizon at sponsored community events outside the store. The position offers base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn commissions based on individual sales performance. Eligible bilingual speakers may receive an additional $3,000 annually after passing a language assessment. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance. Scheduled hours are 40 per week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules are provided four weeks in advance.
- Openness to picking up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities
- Generate retail sales by using knowledge of technology and providing customer service.
- Build connections with customers and ask questions to discover their needs.
- Recommend products and solutions that address customer needs.
- Close sales by communicating clearly and offering simple technology solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and develop skills in merchandising and inventory operations.
- Place outbound calls and send text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
- Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events to expand the customer base.
