About The Position

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will work with a retail team to drive sales, provide customer service, and help customers find technology solutions. You will learn about customers’ needs, recommend products and services, close sales, and develop skills across merchandising and inventory operations. The role may include calling or texting interested Verizon customers and engaging with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events. This is an onsite, worksite-based role with 40 scheduled hours per week. Compensation includes base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, individual commissions, and potential additional annual compensation for bilingual employees in eligible locations after passing a language assessment. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules are provided four weeks in advance.
• Willingness to pick up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales using technology knowledge and customer service.
• Connect with customers, ask questions, and identify their needs.
• Recommend products and solutions to provide customers with a complete sales solution.
• Close sales by communicating effectively and offering intuitive technology solutions.
• Develop operational skills through ongoing training in merchandising and inventory.
• Place outbound calls and send text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events to expand the customer base.
