About The Position

Tocaloma Spa at Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort is seeking a Massage Therapist to provide professional massage services and personalized treatments for guests seeking relaxation and wellness. The role contributes to a tranquil, welcoming spa atmosphere and offers the opportunity to build experience in a luxury hospitality setting.

The Massage Therapist assesses guests’ needs and histories, develops personalized treatment plans, administers massages and therapeutic techniques, and offers wellness guidance. The position also involves guest service, collaboration with other departments, and maintaining clean, safe, well-stocked treatment spaces and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state massage therapist license and required insurance, maintained throughout employment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly and accurately evaluate situations and make sound decisions.
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and stressful environments.
• Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ needs and review their histories to create personalized treatment plans.
• Administer massages and therapeutic techniques.
• Guide clients on postural improvement and exercise, and educate guests on wellness concerns.
• Welcome guests, respond to requests, resolve issues, and provide superior service.
• Communicate with other departments, attend meetings, promote motivation, and support associates.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
• Follow protocols and uphold safety and confidentiality.
