About The Position

The Spa Attendant maintains cleanliness throughout the Spa and Fitness Center while providing superior guest service in a relaxing and comfortable environment. The role includes maintaining locker rooms, fitness areas, hallways, bathrooms, and other guest spaces; preparing and replenishing guest amenities and linens; and supporting the opening, closing, sanitation, and general operation of spa facilities. The attendant also checks in guests, provides orientation and directions, monitors guest comfort, and performs mineral soak treatments.

Requirements

Knowledge of the facility layout and ability to provide directions within the hotel.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Friendly, professional, and congenial personality.
Flexibility with scheduling; responsible and dependable.
Basic computer knowledge and skills.
Ability to make sound decisions.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Must be able to lift, hold, and carry 31–40 pounds.
Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and morning and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate Omni’s associate commitments by delivering excellent guest service and spa experiences.
Maintain cleanliness and neatness throughout the facility, including locker rooms, the fitness center, and spa hallways.
Assist guests with basic front desk needs, including locker setup, robes, and sandals.
Perform daily general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks.
Open and close the sauna, steam room, and whirlpool areas and sanitize them daily.
Open the Spa facility by turning on lights, music, steam, and other amenities.
Replenish guest amenities, robes, towels, and cleaning supplies; clean and disinfect sandals.
Maintain locker room supplies such as water, razors, and Q-tips, and notify a supervisor or manager when supplies are running low.
Maintain laundry inventory and keep linens well stocked.
Monitor the lounge for guest comfort.
Fold and stock linens in the spa dispensary for therapists.
Maintain bathrooms and restock supplies as needed.
Check in guests, provide guest orientation, and ensure towels and beverages are clean, prepared, and well stocked.
Maintain high standards in all guest areas.
Perform mineral soak treatments.
