About The Position
The Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa is a luxurious 30,000 sq ft lakeside sanctuary nestled on the shore of Lake Coeur d’Alene, open daily year-round from 8AM to 8PM. With a dedicated team of 100+ professionals, the spa features 21 treatment rooms, a meditation lounge with sweeping water views, and a full suite of fitness, hydrotherapy, sauna, and salon amenities. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, we offer signature experiences - from the Vichy Shower to the multi-hour “Mountain Mineral Kur” - all set against a backdrop of award-winning service and stunning surroundings. As a Spa Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact. You will welcome guests and greet those who visit the Spa. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak and hear continually all day long in order to answer phones and questions from both Guests and Co-workers.
- Possess good cognitive skills in areas of problem solving and reasoning with both guess and co-workers.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Basic math skills for calculating services.
- Able to use both hands for heavy amount of phone, filing and typing.
- May have to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Capable of sitting and/or standing for long periods of time.
- Must be able to move up and down from the desk frequently and make numerous trips back and forth from the meditation room.
Responsibilities
- Greet all clients as they enter the Spa.
- Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
- Responsible for booking appointments, scheduling appointments, confirming appointments.
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Ensure outstanding customer care at all times.
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages.
- Settle payments.
- Great communication skills between Guests and Co-workers.
- Retail sales.
- Knowledge of our Treatments and products.
- Demonstrates respect, sensitivity and concern for guests needs with a professional and pleasant manner. Answering questions and addressing complaints.
- Maintains schedules and work hours as they are scheduled.
- Participates in keeping an accurate inventory.
- Keeping front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material.
- Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules etc.)
