About The Position

Chaminade Resort & Spa is seeking an energetic, service-focused Front Desk Supervisor to lead daily front office operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position is responsible for supervising Front Desk Agents, supporting operational excellence, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring all arrivals, departures, and guest interactions reflect the resort's luxury service standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, leads by example, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hotel front office experience required.
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business demands.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with hotel property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk during assigned shifts.
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and support Front Desk Agents to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism and urgency.
  • Monitor room inventory, arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and special requests.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management of front office team members.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, balancing, and shift reports.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor lobby appearance and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new associates.
  • Promote resort amenities, dining outlets, spa services, and guest activities.
  • Support occupancy and revenue goals through upselling and guest engagement.
  • Complete opening, closing, and shift responsibilities as assigned.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty when designated.
