About The Position

Morris Animal Inn is a family-owned and operated luxury pet resort offering dogs & cats the finest in lodging, grooming, training & daycare services. We are hiring permanent, year-round Part Time and Full Time Front Desk Receptionists to join our outstanding Guest Services team at our Montville location. The starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Morris Animal Inn believes that our success lies in our outstanding staff! We carefully select individuals that share our passion for providing exceptional pet care and outstanding customer service.

Requirements

• Prior work experience that focuses on engaging and assisting customers with a high degree of friendliness and professionalism
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new software systems
• High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• An appreciation for the fact that pet care is a 365-day business so availability to work on weekends and over holiday periods is required.
• A genuine love of dogs, cats, and people!

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
• Answering phones, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Promoting services and knowledgeable answering client questions
• Maintaining accurate client and pet records
• Processing invoices and collecting payments
• Managing pet check-in and check-out, including completion of required paperwork
• Keeping the front desk and lobby clean and organized
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless, exceptional pet care
