About The Position

Hotel Wildemont, Autograph Collection is a luxury boutique hotel in Mountain Brook, Alabama, featuring the Poseidon Spa. The Spa Esthetician provides personalized skincare services and creates a relaxing, rejuvenating experience for guests. Services include facials, body treatments, waxing, skincare consultations, and product recommendations. The Esthetician helps guests maintain healthy skin, promotes spa services and products, and maintains a serene, clean, and hygienic treatment environment. The role requires an active esthetician license for the state and a professional, guest-focused approach.

Requirements

• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
• Hold an esthetician license in the current state; esthetician license or certification as required by the state or county.
• Attend an accredited school.
• Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of skincare treatments and techniques.
• Know skincare products and their ingredients.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show strong attention to detail and ability to customize treatments for individual guests.
• Have a professional, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, organized, and personable demeanor.
• Be passionate about skincare and caring for people, with outstanding facialist and retailing skills.
• Meet the requirement not to pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an Esthetician or in a similar role.
• An existing client base following.

Responsibilities

• Provide esthetic services, including facials, body treatments, waxing, and skincare consultations.
• Customize treatments to guests’ individual needs and preferences.
• Stay current with skincare and esthetics trends and techniques.
• Educate guests on skincare routines and recommend products for at-home use.
• Create a serene and welcoming spa atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in treatment rooms and workstations.
• Build relationships with guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Promote spa services and products to enhance guest experiences and generate revenue.
• Communicate effectively with the public and team members, and exceed guest expectations.
