About The Position

Equinox is seeking an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Spa Desk Associate for its East 63rd Street location in New York City. Under the direction of Spa leadership, the associate supports daily spa operations, helps achieve service sales and retail targets, promotes spa outreach events, and provides superior customer service to members, prospects, and guests. The role requires a commitment of at least two days per week and weekend availability. Pay is $17.00 per hour, with the ability to earn additional incentives.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Commit to working a minimum of two days per week.
• Be available to work weekends.
• Have excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Be enthusiastic, upbeat, outgoing, personable, and passionate and knowledgeable about the spa industry.
• Be able to multitask.
• Be able to utilize new techniques and ideas.
• Have the legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily activity of spa operations under the direction of Spa leadership.
• Recommend treatments and enhancements to clients to contribute to the spa’s daily service sales goals.
• Inform members and guests about retail products and sell products to support monthly retail targets.
• Support spa-driven club outreach events and programs to promote business growth.
• Provide superior customer service to members, prospects, and guests.
