About The Position

Altitude Aerospace is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the full recruitment cycle for technical positions in aerospace engineering. Working closely with managers and clients, this person identifies, attracts, and evaluates qualified talent, both locally and internationally. They act as a strategic advisor in recruitment while actively contributing to the development of partnerships with educational institutions and enhancing the company’s visibility at recruitment events.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally in a technical environment (engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Good understanding of technical profiles in aerospace engineering (design, stress, systems, quality, etc.) or a strong ability to learn them quickly
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple parallel assignments and tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset (managers and external clients)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English (international environment)
  • Autonomy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of immigration processes and work permit applications is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from needs assessment to hiring
  • Write and post job offers on various platforms, and ensure thorough follow-up on applications
  • Conduct proactive sourcing activities, both locally and internationally, to identify specialized profiles
  • Conduct interviews for technical positions in the aerospace engineering field
  • Support and advise managers in recruiting their teams
  • Maintain regular follow-ups on ongoing mandates with clients and propose relevant, targeted candidates
  • Highlight candidate profiles by preparing presentation files tailored to client needs
  • Develop job offers and employment contracts while ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness
  • Represent the company at recruitment events in Greater Montreal and internationally
  • Identify and develop partnerships with educational institutions related to the company’s areas of expertise
  • Actively participate in recruitment events (job fairs, career days, conferences) organized by these institutions
