About The Position

JG Fruits et Légumes is seeking a dynamic French-English Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Gordon Food Service's specialty companies. As a vital member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top talent to support our organization's growth and success. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Chambly, QC, with a Monday-Friday, business hours schedule. The role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, supporting hiring managers, sourcing and selecting candidates, and conducting onboarding sessions. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of talent acquisition experience, bilingual proficiency in French and English, and strong skills in areas such as action orientation, collaboration, customer engagement, and talent management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and ATS (Workday) is required, along with knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing techniques.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a talent acquisition role.
  • Proficiency both in English and French. English required to communicate with manager and team members in Canada and the US (35%).
  • Action Orientation, Collaboration, Customer Engagement, Communication, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Results Focus, Self-Management, Talent Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and ATS (Workday).
  • Knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Prepare offer letters and conduct new hire administration processes.
  • Manage workload and metrics such as Time to Fill, Quality of Hire, and Turnover Reporting to drive process improvements.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment needs and offer parameters.
  • Analyze reports to inform and influence leaders.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on the recruitment and selection process through ongoing counsel and training sessions.
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding sessions for new hires, delivering orientation presentations, reviewing company policies and procedures, coordinating training schedules, and ensuring a smooth integration into team operations and organizational culture.
  • Post positions on various talent boards and utilize different platforms for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Provide input to social media campaigns as needed.
  • Create interview guides and evaluation tools for hiring teams.
  • Screen resumes and applicants using defined recruitment methods.
  • Conduct applicant screening interviews and coordinate interview schedules.
  • Ensure a consistent candidate experience through technology utilization.
