About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Material Maintenance Specialist to join our In Service Operation team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will contribute to return the aircraft into service as planned by the customer. You will be part of the Configuration Management and Supply Engineering & Material Anticipation team responsible for material anticipation, configuration management and material supply during critical events. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Requirements

You possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in aircraft maintenance activities and an increased knowledge of the issues encountered during these visits
You have the ability to use the engineering documentation, suc as AMP, IPDP, and ASRP
You have the ability to use SAP, Catia and Enovia (an asset)
You have an experience at Airbus and/or on the A220 and/or in customer services (strong asset)
You are process oriented and have experience in incorporating new ways of working
You are structured in tracking activities
You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, transverse project environment
You demonstrate a strong ability to manage your priorities and overcome setbacks
You promote teamwork and act with leadership
You are customer focused and behave with integrity at all time with no compromise
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (French and English) and treat people with respect
You demonstrate innovation, commitment and perseverance

Nice To Haves

You have aptitudes in SAP, Catia and Enovia
You have an experience at Airbus and/or on the A220 and/or in customer services

Responsibilities

Evaluate part requirements to complete maintenance activities
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary teams to find the best solution for each part
Carry out in-depth analyses of required parts, according to effectiveness and interchangeability
Compile relevant information from maintenance activities to propose additional inventory to support the business activities
Contribute to the definition of the improvement plans for issue highlighted during maintenance activities
Collaborate with the section chief in tracking progress of the activities of improvement plans
Propose new activities or adjustments to the action plans based on governance findings
Investigation on root cause of issue identified by the governance and propose solution path to resolve the situation and avoid crisis
Develop synergy with Satair and some suppliers
Ensure strategic alignment of the team priorities with the organization
Propose long term governance approach
Contribute to the long term team development plan
