About The Position

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for supporting inventory planning and control activities to ensure optimal material availability in support of operational and customer requirements. The role focuses on inventory analysis, stock optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain efficient inventory management practices across the organization. The candidate will work closely with logistics, procurement, operations, and material planning teams to monitor inventory health, support replenishment strategies, and drive inventory performance improvements. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with flexible hours, based exclusively on site in St-Hubert.

Requirements

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in aerospace or supply chain, preferably in a repair management or MRO role
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory
  • Perform Kanban analysis and support replenishment parameter optimization
  • Review and maintain appropriate safety stock levels based on demand variability, lead times, and operational requirements
  • Monitor and analyze stock levels across multiple part families and storage locations
  • Track and improve inventory turns and other inventory performance indicators
  • Support inventory forecasting, planning, and material flow optimization initiatives
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and support root cause corrective actions
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to resolve material shortages and inventory issues
  • Generate and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency
  • Participate in cycle count analysis and inventory reconciliation activities
