About The Position

Conseiller technique en implantation gtechna, une division de Harris Computer Ville Saint-Laurent, Montréal Possibilités de télé-travail gtechna est à la recherche d'un conseiller technique en implantation qui sera responsable des tâches techniques pendant les projets d’implantation et fournira des services d'installation technique et de soutien à l’implantation pour les clients, nouveaux et existants. Le candidat idéal est un professionnel enthousiaste, axé sur le travail d'équipe, qui offre un service à la clientèle exceptionnel, possède d'excellentes capacités de déduction et s'efforce de respecter les jalons des projets dans un environnement où le rythme est rapide. Travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les gestionnaires de projet, le conseiller en implantation est en contact direct avec le client et joue un rôle clé lors de la définition des exigences du client en produits livrables. Cela comprend l'analyse et la documentation des exigences des processus d’affaires ainsi que la configuration, les essais, l’implantation, la formation et le soutien de la solution. Le siège social de gtechna est situé à Ville Saint-Laurent, au Québec. Des possibilités de travail à distance sont disponibles.

Requirements

  • BA/BSc, related College Technical diploma; or equivalent applicable industry experience
  • Good knowledge of: Network infrastructure
  • Network security
  • MsSQL and PostgreSQL database
  • Working with VMs
  • VPN connectivity
  • English and French written and verbal communication skills, as we have candidate in Quebec and the rest of the Canada.
  • Demonstrable customer care and focus

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Jira & Confluence
  • HTML, AJAX, XML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery knowledge
  • Knowledge on Java/Tomcat implementation (Windows / Linux)
  • Experience using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, or other similar technologies
  • Experience in the parking industry, enforcement and/or government software implementations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and French

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary technician to the configuration of our software suite to meet our client’s requirements
  • Participate in discovery sessions with our clients to define and understand the technical requirements to be implemented
  • Configure our software suit using workflow and business rules to allow clients to conduct their business processes
  • Serve as a customer advocate and facilitate communication with other internal departments; Work with cross-functional team members including Project Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance, Technical Support Analysts, and other Implementation Specialists
  • Be adept on the functionality and capabilities of our software suit, making enhancement requests to our product development team when appropriate
  • Assist clients with end-to-end system testing and troubleshooting
  • Document training materials and effectively train the end-users in how to use the software in both remote and classroom-led sessions
