About The Position

Graham Packaging Company is hiring a Sorter at its Recycling Plant in York, Pennsylvania. The position sorts raw materials on production lines for processing, including removing contamination and separating materials by color. The role also involves housekeeping and cleaning tasks, following safety requirements, and training coworkers when requested.

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 6:48 AM to 3:00 PM. Starting pay is $18.90 per hour. Weekly pay is offered, benefits are effective on day one, and vacation is available after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Sort contamination out of raw materials.
• Sort raw materials by color.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Clean out dryers during blade changes and blade rotations.
• Keep the workstation clean.
• Follow all safety regulations and requirements.
• Train fellow employees as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
